School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Oakland, California

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, counseling, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and perform case management duties effectively
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapeutic services to students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in close coordination with educators and families
- Case manage approximately 9 students, ensuring compliance with all relevant documentation and timelines
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive care for each student
- Monitor student progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and regulatory requirements
