Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Puyallup, WA

Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Current SLP-CCC certification and eligibility for work in Washington
- School-based SLP experience, particularly with early childhood populations
- Familiarity with IEP/IFSP procedures and documentation
- Ability to manage responsibilities in multiple school buildings
- Strong collaborative skills to work alongside an SLPA
- Preference for candidates with experience serving Native American communities
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing and treating speech, language, and communication needs for early learners
- Developing and implementing individualized plans (IEPs and IFSPs)
- Tracking student progress and adapting interventions to meet goals
- Coordinating services across three school sites
- Facilitating ongoing communication with families and educational staff
- Supporting cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in all interventions
You will work onsite only, immersed in a supportive environment that values specialized expertise and cultural competence. While a unique BIE adjudication process may extend your credentialing by about a week, this means you'll be part of a thoughtfully selected team prepared to make a difference.
