Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid Washington SLP license and ASHA CCCs (or eligibility)
- Recent experience providing speech services in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Team-oriented mindset and a commitment to collaboration with educators and families
- In-person availability; remote work not offered for this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostic assessments for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct speech therapy sessions to students ages 3-21
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on student response
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support personnel, and families
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state regulations
- Attend team meetings and participate in professional development initiatives
