Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Minimum of one year experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
- Dedication to working on-site (remote or virtual services not being considered)
- SLPAs or assistants are not eligible for this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify communication and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic success
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services on-site
- Maintain accurate documentation and detailed records for compliance
- Engage in ongoing communication with staff and parents to track progress
- Attend and participate in school meetings related to student support
