Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold current certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Demonstrated experience or training working with pediatric populations in a school environment.
- Familiarity with early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school settings.
- Skilled at designing interventions for students from Pre-K through Grade 12.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff.
- Committed to providing compassionate, individualized care and evidence-based therapy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual educational goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in eligibility meetings.
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions for individuals and small groups.
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Provide guidance and resources for teachers and families to support students’ growth.
