Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Washington SLP License
- ESA certification required
- Must have completed fingerprinting through OSPI
- School-based experience preferred
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Consult with classroom teachers regarding effective strategies and supports
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment for all students
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training as needed
