Key Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Previous experience in schools is highly valued.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Passion for working with students of varying ages and abilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with diverse disabilities—from mild to severe.
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student communication goals.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records as required by school and state standards.
- Provide training and guidance to staff and family members as needed.
