Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
  • Previous experience in schools is highly valued.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Passion for working with students of varying ages and abilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students with diverse disabilities—from mild to severe.
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student communication goals.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records as required by school and state standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff and family members as needed.
