School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Stanwood, Washington

A contract position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide exceptional services within a supportive school environment. This part-time role (.4 FTE) is set for the entire 2026-2027 academic year, offering a chance to work collaboratively and impact the communication skills of students.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility for licensure)
- Successful previous experience in school settings highly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to deliver both direct services and consultative support
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, or fluency challenges
- Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in communication disorders
- Offer consultative support and training to staff and families as needed
