Preferred background and skills:
- Valid Pennsylvania speech-language pathology licensure (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged
- School-based experience preferred, though related backgrounds are considered
- Comfortable providing services and conducting evaluations
- Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- SLPAs may be considered depending on qualifications
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in line with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments as assigned
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Adapt service delivery methods to meet the diverse needs of students across various grade levels
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
