Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Active license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP within Illinois
  • Previous experience providing speech and language therapy in a pediatric or school setting
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and compliance
  • Comfortable working with diverse student populations and all grade levels
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Collaborative, flexible, and dedicated to student achievement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments, interpret results, and create individualized treatment plans
  • Directly provide therapy to students with a variety of communication needs
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to inform and support best practices for student learning
  • Document progress, prepare required reports, and participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member
  • Deliver services using evidence-based techniques tailored to the needs of each student
  • Support the integration and generalization of communication skills across classroom settings
