Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP within Illinois
- Previous experience providing speech and language therapy in a pediatric or school setting
- Strong understanding of IEP development and compliance
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations and all grade levels
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Collaborative, flexible, and dedicated to student achievement
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, interpret results, and create individualized treatment plans
- Directly provide therapy to students with a variety of communication needs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to inform and support best practices for student learning
- Document progress, prepare required reports, and participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member
- Deliver services using evidence-based techniques tailored to the needs of each student
- Support the integration and generalization of communication skills across classroom settings
