Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
- Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required
- Clinical experience with pediatric populations, especially in school or early childhood settings
- Adaptability and comfort with an itinerant structure, as assignments could include 1-2 school locations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide evidence-based speech and language therapy for students from early childhood through elementary grades
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and develop effective IEPs
- Deliver direct and consultative services in both English and Spanish, ensuring culturally responsive intervention
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Engage in professional development and contribute positively to a supportive and inclusive school environment
