This role is based onsite for the 2026-2027 academic year, working full-time, Monday through Friday—offering you the chance to enrich communication and learning in a supportive educational setting.
You’ll work closely with students presenting a wide spectrum of disabilities, from mild to severe, designing and implementing individualized speech and language interventions that foster growth and self-confidence.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Washington State certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous experience supporting students in a school-based setting (elementary, middle, or high school)
- Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention strategies, and IEP development for students with varied needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language evaluation, therapy, and consultative services to students with diverse disabilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers and families
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Support inclusive and positive learning environments through collaboration and advocacy
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team planning sessions
