Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Washington State
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatrics and early intervention settings
  • Familiarity with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders common in early childhood
  • Previous school-based or healthcare SLP background is highly valued

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among young students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to foster student growth
  • Collaborate with special education teachers, occupational therapists, counselors, and families to support each child's progress
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and maintain thorough service documentation
  • Offer direct therapy sessions and consultative support to students, adapting approaches based on individual needs
  • Encourage family engagement in the intervention process to foster continued growth at home
