Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) certification required
- Washington State SLP license
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred, especially with diverse student populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfort with both virtual (Zoom) and in-person interviews
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for various age groups and needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students, addressing communicative, developmental, and cognitive needs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Work with a broad spectrum of disabilities and implement strategies tailored to each student’s unique goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Track and report student progress toward therapy objectives
