This rewarding full-time contract opportunity begins early August and runs through late May, offering a stable school-based schedule. Three experienced speech-language pathologists are needed for onsite roles supporting PreK to 8th grade at a single campus.
Desired Qualifications:
- Holds valid SLP - CCC credentials
- Current Arizona SLP license in good standing
- Arizona Educator Certificate
- Active IVP Fingerprint Card
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting student communication and language development in school settings
- Experience collaborating with diverse student populations and fellow educators
- Ability to adapt strategies for varied student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to K-8 students in accordance with IEPs and best practices
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate records and provide ongoing progress updates to school staff and families
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and inclusive environment within the school community
- Engage in ongoing professional development and uphold state and district requirements
