Key Responsibilities
- Assess students and provide direct language and speech services
- Implement and tailor AAC systems to individual needs
- Draft, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Schedule and deliver therapy sessions
- Maintain thorough records for Medicaid billing and departmental requirements
- Guide and train staff on AAC integration and speech best practices
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings, maintain regular attendance, and collaborate with families
