Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School Setting
Soliant is seeking a full time Speech Language Pathologist for a school based contract job near Portland, OR for the 2026/2027 School Year. As a Speech Language Pathologist working on a contract basis, you'll provide essential support to students by evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of speech, communication, and language disorders. Your expertise will help students reach their greatest potential in the school setting, making a real difference in their educational experience. This full-time opportunity guarantees consistent hours, allowing you to plan and balance your schedule with confidence.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Active Oregon SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Passion for working with children and helping them achieve measurable progress
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work independently as well as part of an interdisciplinary team
Daily responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments to identify students’ speech or language needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s progress
- Documenting interventions, evaluations, and progress notes
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to educational planning
- Providing guidance and training to educators and families as needed
Compensation Details:
- Hourly Pay: $50-$60
