Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP or SLP-CFY
- Experience or training in school-based settings is strongly valued
- Passion for serving children and adolescents in an educational context
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to individual student needs and demonstrate creative problem-solving
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to K-12 students, both individually and in small groups
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student learning and inclusion
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports in compliance with school and legal standards
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute positively to the school’s multidisciplinary team
