Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid SLP license for Oregon; Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a school or early childhood setting is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Eagerness to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in early childhood students
- Develop goals and treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Document progress and maintain clear, accurate records according to district guidelines
- Consult and coordinate with teachers, specialists, and administrators
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students as part of an Individual Education Plan (IEP) team
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and parent meetings, sharing expertise and recommendations
- Stay current with best practices and professional development in speech-language pathology
