School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by collaborating with a dynamic multidisciplinary team to provide speech and language services in a supportive school environment near Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. This contract opportunity begins August 10, 2026 and runs through May 28, 2027, offering a consistent 35-hour workweek, with placements at one school location ranging from Pre-K through high school. Selected professionals will support a caseload of approximately 60 students with mild to moderate communication needs, or potentially work within specialized center-based programs.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active FL Department of Health (DOH) SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) in good standing
- Previous school-based experience or strong clinical background with Pre K–12 populations
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and collaboration with educational staff
- Uphold high standards of professional ethics and privacy practices
- Willingness to complete FL school district fingerprinting and credentialing requirements
Key responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy targeting speech, language, and communication disorders
- Document student progress according to district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Deliver services for assigned caseload, adapting resources and techniques for diverse learners
- Work on-site at one location (no virtual/remote assignments)
