Districtwide Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Openings in Chicopee, Massachusetts

Schedule: Full-time; part-time candidates may be considered
Position Overview
We are seeking two Speech-Language Pathologists to support K–12 students within Chicopee Public Schools. These districtwide positions focus primarily on evaluations, report writing, and IEP meetings, with some direct therapy services.
Caseload Information
• K–12 student population
• Districtwide, split caseloads
• SLPAs provide most direct therapy services
• Specific assignments will be discussed during the interview process
Required Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
• Active Massachusetts SLP license
• Appropriate school-based credentials as required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
• School-based experience preferred
Responsibilities
• Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
• Complete evaluation reports and required documentation
• Develop and support individualized IEP goals
• Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
• Provide direct services as needed
• Collaborate with SLPAs, teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Screening & Credentialing Requirements
• District onboarding and credential verification
• Background check and fingerprint clearance as required
• Internal eligibility interview
