Step into a rewarding contract opportunity delivering impactful speech-language services to students across multiple school sites in a vibrant Florida community. This role is designed for passionate, adaptable Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC) who are eager to support PreK-12 learners with diverse mild to moderate communication needs. You’ll enjoy the challenge of an itinerant position, building relationships with students and staff in several school locations throughout the academic year.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Active Florida DOH Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC required)
  • Experience in school-based settings working with students ages PreK–12
  • Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads (estimated at 60 students, subject to confirmation)
  • Commitment to on-site service provision; this position is not open to virtual/remote (VOCO) work
  • Willingness to complete fingerprinting for credentialing, and additional JLA badge requirements as necessary
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and social-emotional success
  • Travel between assigned schools as an itinerant SLP, adapting to diverse environments and team cultures
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation, and participate actively in IEP meetings
