School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Middleburg, Florida

This opportunity involves working on-site with a dedicated school community in the Jacksonville, FL area, spanning the upcoming school year. You'll have the chance to serve as an integral resource for students from Pre-K through 12th grade, helping them reach their communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP Licensure required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience or interest in working with a diverse caseload of PreK–12 students, ranging from mild to moderate needs; specific location assignments may include intensive support environments with severe populations
- Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Completion or verification of current Florida school district fingerprinting via the AHCA Clearinghouse
- Excellent collaboration, documentation, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a school-based setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific needs and educational goals
- Maintain regular communication with families, teachers, and school teams
- Complete required documentation and progress monitoring in a timely manner
- Support assigned campus, which will be determined based on your skills and caseload needs; schools may include elementary, middle, high school, or specialized centers
