Qualified individuals will work on-site at one assigned school in the Jacksonville, FL area, providing services to students across PreK–12 age groups. Assignments may include working with mild to moderate caseloads or students with more severe needs, depending on the location.
Qualifications:
- Current and active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students from Preschool through High School
- Successful completion of Florida school-based fingerprinting/background check process
- Commitment to in-person service delivery (remote/virtual options unavailable)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students within assigned caseload
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Prepare and maintain thorough documentation, evaluation reports, and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Support a positive learning environment that encourages communication growth
