What you'll need to succeed:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP license
- ASHA CCC required
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Comfortable managing a varied PreK-12 caseload (approx. 60 students, subject to change)
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt to itinerant responsibilities and support multiple campus locations
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments
- Developing and updating individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Delivering direct and consultative therapy
- Documenting student progress and compliance reports timely and accurately
- Serving as a resource for staff and families on communication needs
