This contract opportunity offers a dedicated assignment at one of several area schools, working a consistent 35-hour week on site – ensuring you’re closely connected to your students, colleagues, and school community.
As a credentialed Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) with active FL DOH SLP licensure, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, develop, and implement individualized communication interventions. Caseloads are projected to include mild to moderate cases, with an estimated number of 60 students per site, ranging in age depending on the specific school assignment.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and active FL DOH SLP license
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) with ASHA
- Prior experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Familiarity with various speech and language disorders in diverse populations
- Ability to pass fingerprint background checks and fulfill AHCA/JLA badge requirements as mandated for school-based professionals
In this role, you will:
- Conduct evaluations, create treatment plans, and deliver direct and consultative speech/language services
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records in line with state and district standards
- Communicate and collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered solutions
This position starts August 10th, 2026, and runs through May 28th, 2027, providing structured support throughout the school year. Assignments will be made to one of several school campuses in the area, fostering long-term connections with students and staff.
