Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP licensure eligible for FL Department of Education certification
- Prior experience providing therapy in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50-60 students
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with faculty, parents, and students
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person diagnostic assessments and therapeutic interventions to a diverse caseload, ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with education teams and families to support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Document progress, adjust plans as needed, and participate in eligibility and review meetings
- Provide consultative support to general and special education teachers
- Maintain compliant, accurate recordkeeping for all students on caseload
- Contribute to the positive, collaborative culture of your assigned school—elementary (7:30–4:00), middle (7:45–4:00), or high school (8:30–4:00)
