9th Grade 8th Grade Speech Language Pathologist in Hollywood, FL

Multiple openings are available across elementary, middle, and high school levels, with schedules tailored to each setting: Elementary (7:30 am - 4:00 pm), Middle (7:45 am - 4:00 pm), and High School (8:30 am - 4:00 pm). Caseloads are thoughtfully managed, aiming to stay between 50-60 students, providing ample opportunity for meaningful, individualized therapy and collaboration with educators and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience or interest in serving students from K-12, including 1st through 12th grades
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Commitment to providing evidence-based, compassionate care in a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to assigned students
- Conduct assessments, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to IEP development
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, other therapists, and support staff
- Participate in team meetings and family conferences
- Support students’ communication goals, literacy, and academic achievement
