Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Pomona, CA

An exciting contract opportunity is available for two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to provide maternity leave coverage across multiple school sites in the Glendora and Pomona areas. These full-time positions will support students in grades K-12, offering services both in-person and via teletherapy as appropriate.
Ideal candidates bring strong clinical expertise and adaptability, thriving in a dynamic school environment. Whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your dedication to helping children communicate and access education will shine in this role.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) also encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated experience in pediatrics and/or schools (K-12 preferred)
- Experience or interest in providing teletherapy services
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt quickly across multiple campuses
- Familiarity with IEP processes, assessments, therapy, and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy for K-12 students, including assessment, direct treatment, and consultations
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
- Maintain documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Deliver services in both on-site and remote (teletherapy) formats as needed
Pay rates for this opportunity range from $45-55 per hour, depending on experience.
