Bilingual School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Plano, Texas

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP licensure in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship candidates welcome
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (must speak Spanish)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Solid understanding of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students, including those whose primary language is Spanish
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other educators and support staff
- Provide direct therapy services in both English and Spanish, adjusting techniques to meet each student’s unique needs
- Engage and educate families regarding their child’s progress and strategies to support growth at home, with a focus on culturally responsive communication
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and state regulations
- Attend and contribute to meetings with interdisciplinary teams, including teachers, counselors, and administrators
