Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in Texas (CCC or CFY credentials welcome)
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Familiarity with pediatric or healthcare SLP settings
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly valued
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines
- Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student progress
- Deliver engaging and evidence-based therapy to ensure each student’s unique needs are met
- Participate in meetings, training, and professional development activities
