Speech Language Pathologist in Plano, TX
Help make a difference in educational settings by providing essential speech-language services to students and adults. This opportunity involves a contract position supporting the needs of both children and adults in a year-round program. The schedule runs from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, with a 7:30 am arrival to prepare for the day ahead. We are currently seeking 2-3 skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) or licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) who are passionate about helping a diverse caseload thrive.
What You’ll Need:
- Current SLP-CCC or SLPA credential (eligible for schools in Texas)
- Experience providing speech, language, and feeding therapy in educational or clinical settings
- Familiarity with evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress documentation
- Excellent organizational skills for managing caseloads and preparing individualized therapy sessions
- Compassionate and adaptive communication style with both pediatric and adult populations
- Availability for year-round, full-day hours (Monday–Friday)
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations for new students, as well as regular re-evaluations and assessments
- Deliver speech, language, and malfunction therapy sessions, tailored to individual needs
- Lead both 1-hour and 30-minute focused interventions (speech or malfunction only)
- Engage in feeding therapy as required for client needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for each session
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support best outcomes
