Preferred candidates will have at least two years of prior experience working with pediatric populations in school-based or similar settings. Whether you hold your CCC or are completing your CFY, your expertise and enthusiasm for speech-language services will help students achieve communicative success and thrive in the classroom environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience with school-aged children (K-12), ideally two years
- Familiarity with IEP processes, speech/language evaluations, and therapy documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability to accommodate a full range of ages and speech/language needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech/language therapy services directly to K-12 students, primarily in early grade levels
- Conduct evaluations, develop goals, and document student progress in accordance with best practices and compliance
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to tailor interventions
- Contribute to IEP meetings and student progress updates
- Foster an encouraging, positive environment for communication skill development
