Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license and eligibility to practice in the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) may be considered
- Strong experience in pediatric speech and language assessment and intervention
- At least 2 years of previous school experience is preferred
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for comprehensive student support
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, with focus on younger children
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic support to students
- Engage in ongoing communication with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with school and district policies
- Support students with diverse backgrounds and a range of communication needs
