Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Proven experience providing speech therapy in a school or educational setting
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to monitor progress and adapt therapy approaches as needed
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing professional development activities
