Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience providing speech therapy services in a school setting
- Solid understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Adaptable and enthusiastic when working with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and document progress towards individualized goals
- Provide training and resources to staff and families to support carryover of skills
- Maintain accurate records and stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy
