Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active or pending state licensure in Illinois
- Previous experience working within a school environment or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students, families, and staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted intervention strategies
- Deliver evidence-based therapy, both individually and in group settings, to meet diverse student needs
- Monitor, document, and evaluate student progress toward communication goals
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, student conferences, and staff training sessions
- Maintain accurate and timely records meeting federal, state, and district compliance standards
