Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Illinois SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience delivering therapy in school settings strongly preferred
- Proficient communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to engage with students across varied ages and abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services individually and/or in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team to maximize student growth
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reporting
- Attend IEP meetings, parent conferences, and relevant trainings as required
- Participate actively in ongoing professional development
