Both full-time (up to 37.5 hours/week) and part-time schedules are available, making it easy to balance work with your other commitments. As part of a dedicated educational team, you’ll deliver essential speech and language services to students with diverse needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Illinois (IL) SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required (screenshot must be included with application)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience in a high school or school-based setting highly preferred
  • Comfortable managing a caseload of up to 60 students (typically starting around 30)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, able to work effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • SLPA and Clinical Fellow applicants are not eligible for this position

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide speech-language therapy for high school-aged students
  • Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Document student progress and submit timely reports as required
  • Provide direct and consultative services in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate closely with educational staff, parents, and administration
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations for student support
