An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a meaningful impact with high school students in a supportive educational setting. This contract position offers the flexibility to accommodate both full-time and part-time schedules, ensuring work-life balance tailored to your needs. With a maximum caseload of 60 and a starting assignment of approximately 30 students, you'll be able to provide individualized attention and care.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience in high school settings strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Must be adept at working independently and as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Only licensed SLPs considered (no SLPAs or CFs)
  • Proficiency with IEP documentation and school-based therapy models

Role Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in high school-aged students
  • Develop and implement individualized IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers to support academic and functional success
  • Maintain detailed, compliant documentation of student progress
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings and student conferences
  • Contribute to positive learning environments throughout the assigned school

Enjoy a structured schedule with staff hours from 7:55 AM to 3:25 PM, and experience a collaborative educational community focused on students’ growth. Both full-time and part-time scheduling options are available, with maximum weekly hours of up to 37.5.
