Take the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of high school students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist for the current school year. You will support a caseload of approximately 30 students to start, with the potential to grow to a maximum of 60 for full-time staff, all within a collaborative and resourceful educational environment near Aurora, IL.

Enjoy a consistent daily schedule from 7:55 AM to 3:25 PM, with flexible full-time (up to 37.5 hours per week) and part-time hours available. Your expertise will play a key role in helping students achieve their communication and academic goals while building meaningful relationships and encouraging growth.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois
  • Experience working in school-based settings, especially with high school students
  • SLP-CCC certification
  • Strong assessment, communication, and organization skills
  • Ability to provide a screenshot verifying active IL SLP license and PEL with your application
  • Please note: SLPAs and CFs cannot be considered for this opportunity

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language assessments for assigned students
  • Create and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff
  • Document and report student progress and treatment outcomes
  • Contribute to IEP development, meetings, and related support activities
  • Maintain compliance with all state and district guidelines
