What We're Looking For:
- Valid Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Ability to provide a screenshot verifying active credentials upon application
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Commitment to onsite work—remote or hybrid options not available
- Capacity to manage a caseload of up to 60 students for those seeking full-time hours (starting with around 30 students)
- SLPAs or Clinical Fellows are not eligible for this position
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to high school students, focusing on educational impact
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans based on students' needs
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s progress
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state policies
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to the school community within the scheduled hours: 7:55 AM – 3:25 PM
