Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligible for state licensure (CFY and CCC considered)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience within school settings is highly preferred
- Passion for facilitating student success and overcoming communication barriers
- Ability to work onsite full-time; no teletherapy options available
- SLPAs are not being considered for this role at this time
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students, identifying individual speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure students’ needs are addressed
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and support for multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct therapy services, adapting methods to best support each student
