Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active SLP license for the state of Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- School experience with K-5 students, including direct therapy and assessment
- Thorough understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience in due process documentation and case management
- Comfortable supervising and mentoring support staff or related SLP providers
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to approximately 57 K-5 students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Complete due process paperwork and maintain detailed documentation
- Supervise a Tier 2 SLP at a secondary campus, providing support and guidance as needed
- Foster a supportive, engaging environment that encourages student growth
- Adhere to best practices and district policies for special education services
