What we’re looking for:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in pediatric settings or schools
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborative attitude—ready to partner with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Key responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult with educational staff and families to support student progress
- Monitor and document each child’s progress toward therapy goals
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and continuing education as needed
- Foster a positive, supportive environment for pediatric clients
