Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but clinical fellows are welcome
- Previous experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Skills in assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of evidence-based interventions
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other allied professionals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform speech, language, and communication assessments for students across grade levels
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and track progress toward student goals
- Provide direct therapy services in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings
- Consult regularly with teachers and families to offer strategies for generalizing skills
- Maintain accurate documentation for compliance with state, district, and federal guidelines
- Engage in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to supportive, collaborative solutions
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education for pediatric speech-language pathology
