Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP licensure for the state of Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience working with pediatric and/or school-based populations
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload and adapt to a school-based schedule
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough documentation as required
- Deliver therapy sessions individually and in groups, adapting to diverse needs
- Educate and support school teams regarding students’ speech and language challenges
