Speech Language Pathologist in Peyton, CO
Step into a dynamic school environment near Peyton, CO, where you can make a lasting difference as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity offers a welcoming and collaborative workspace, with another experienced SLP in the building who will be available for support and mentoring. You’ll work 37.5 hours per week, with a choice between two convenient daytime schedules: either 7:15 am to 3:15 pm or 7:45 am to 3:45 pm.
In this role, you’ll work with an engaging preschool caseload, typically ranging from 40 to 60 students. Your expertise and compassionate approach will help young learners develop crucial communication skills, setting them up for future academic and social success.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state of Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or strong Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates considered
- Passion for working with preschool-age children
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess speech and language disorders
- Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and fellow SLPs to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
