School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Mount Prospect, IL
Join a collaborative school team in Mount Prospect as a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and help students develop the communication skills they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom. Schedule:
Part-time: 2–2.5 days per week
Hours: 8:00 AM–3:30 PM
In this role, you’ll provide individualized speech and language services that support students’ communication, learning, and participation within the educational setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Illinois SLP license
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for working with children and adolescents
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Provide direct therapy services to students
- Develop and implement IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance standards
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other members of the student support team
