Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and current Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and adolescent populations
- Background working in early childhood, elementary, middle, or high school settings is highly valued
- Ability to adapt strategies for students across Pre-K, Kindergarten, elementary, and secondary grade levels
- Familiarity with IEP process and multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Compassion and dedication to supporting students with diverse communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students from Pre-K to Grade 12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ developmental and academic needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students, using evidence-based techniques
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom modifications and supports
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and compliance paperwork
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment where every student feels supported
