Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Virginia
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are welcome to apply
- Passion for working with school-aged children across grades K-12
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with Common Core standards and IEP process
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to students’ needs
- Conduct thorough evaluations and write clear, accurate reports
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to IEPs
- Engage with families to support student progress and carryover of skills into classroom and home environments
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines
