Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or the ability to obtain licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Recent experience working with school-aged students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work with a range of student needs across K-12 populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students referred for speech-language services
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct and consultative therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Stay current on best practices in speech therapy and special education
