Each position offers 35 hours per week on an on-site basis, supporting students during key periods of maternity leave.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLP licensure (Certificate of Clinical Competence required)
- Schools-based SLP experience, ideally with K-8 or high school populations
- Commitment to facilitating communication growth for students with varying abilities, including those in ASD units
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to complete district credentialing, including fingerprint requirements (prior AHCA Clearinghouse prints may suffice)
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to assigned caseload (one school per assignment)
- Collaborate with existing SLP or SLPA support on-site, sharing insights and promoting best practices
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and track student progress using school-specific systems
- Participate in meetings, parent conferences, and educational team discussions as needed
