Assignment Details:
- First position: Full-time starting September 4th through January 31st.
- Second position: Part-time, 2 days per week, beginning as soon as possible through the end of the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology licensure for practice in Washington State.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
- Demonstrated school-based experience working with diverse student populations.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to consult with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Administer speech, language, and communication evaluations as needed.
- Write and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and necessary documentation in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Participate in school team meetings and effectively communicate recommendations.
- Provide resources and guidance to school staff and families to support students’ continued success.
